Parent Code of Conduct
The Jesuit Junior Marauders is different than other youth football and cheer organizations. JJM shares and promotes the values taught and practiced at Jesuit High School. We will hold ourselves to a higher standard in our conduct, sportsmanship, discipline and approach to football and cheer. All Jesuit Junior Marauders are expected to behave in a manner that demonstrates respect for the game, teammates, opponents, coaches and officials.

Full commitment to the principles and standards set forth herein and intention to attend Jesuit High School (for male participants) are conditions to participation in the JJM program. Non-compliance with these conditions, as determined by the JJM President and Board of Directors, could lead to disqualification from participation and removal from the program.

1. I understand the intent of the JJM program is to prepare young men for enrollment at Jesuit High School, and I attest that it is my full intent to enroll my children registering for the JJM Football program at Jesuit High School for their freshman year of high school. I agree to withdraw my children from the JJM Football program should my intent change for any reason.

2. I hereby pledge to provide support, care, and encouragement for my child participating in JJM Youth Football and Cheer by following this Parent Code of Conduct:

3. I will actively demonstrate positive support and respect for all players, cheerleaders, coaches, and officials at every game, practice or other JJM sponsored event.

4. I will set a positive example by treating other players, cheerleaders, coaches, fans and officials with respect regardless of race, sex, creed or ability. I will insist that my child do the same.

5. I will not openly critique the ability or attributes of other players in comparison to my child.

6. I will not openly critique the coaching staffs.

7. I will allow the coaching staffs to coach my child and will refrain from coaching during practices and games.

8. I will support coaches and officials working with my child so as to encourage a positive and enjoyable experience for all.

9. I will refrain from cursing, vulgar language, or other detrimental behavior at all JJM practices, games, and activities.

10. I will place the emotional and physical well-being of my child ahead of any personal desires.

11. I will insist that my child play in a safe and healthy environment.

12. I agree that the JJM environment will free from drugs, tobacco and alcohol and that I will refrain from their use at all JJM events.

13. I agree that the game is for the football and cheer participants-not adults.

14. It is explicitly understood and agreed that my failure to abide by the terms and conditions set forth herein will lead to my child's dismissal from the JJM program. It is further understood and agreed that the JJM President and its Board of Directors have adopted a "Zero Tolerance" position to any such failures, as determined by the President and the Board.

15. I will do my very best to make the Jesuit Junior Marauders fun and productive for my child. I will help my child enjoy the Jesuit Junior Marauders experience by positively supporting his or her efforts and providing encouragement to do his or her very best.
